Those who inherit the blood of Momotarou and Oni have been locked in a bitter conflict for generations. The Oni are impulsive, chaotic, and reckless, while the Momotarou stand as guardians, protecting humanity from the Oni's destructive impulses. Shiki Ichinose is a rebellious and careless teenager, fully aware of his defiant behavior and even taking pride in being expelled from school. Despite Shiki's troublesome attitude, his foster father, Tsuyoshi, loves him unconditionally.
Tsuyoshi’s devotion becomes evident during a sudden confrontation when a Momotarou bursts in, targeting Shiki. As a Momotarou himself, Tsuyoshi had been shielding Shiki for years, hiding his Oni heritage—even from Shiki himself. In a final act of sacrifice, Tsuyoshi gives his life to protect Shiki, revealing the truth with his dying words. This tragedy triggers Shiki’s dormant Oni blood, unleashing a furious transformation into a wild, vengeful creature consumed by rage.
Shiki's violent awakening draws the attention of Naito Mudano, an Oni instructor at Rakshasa Academy—a school dedicated to helping young Oni harness and refine their powers. But before Shiki can seek vengeance for his foster father’s death, he must first learn to control his impulsive nature and face the true battle within himself—against his own demonic instincts.
