Still dealing with the pain of her recent breakup, Momo Ayase—a popular high school student—decides to defend Ken Takakura, a socially awkward classmate, from his bullies. Ken mistakenly believes she shares his passion for aliens and UFOs, assuming he’s found a kindred spirit. But Momo, whose strange interests center around ghosts and the occult, firmly denies the existence of aliens. This sparks a rivalry, with both determined to prove their own beliefs true.
Yet, despite their conflicting views, Momo and Ken gradually form a close and unexpected friendship, strengthened by strange supernatural battles and encounters with urban myths and paranormal beings. As they each awaken unique superhuman powers, they learn to rely on one another’s strengths, eventually questioning whether their growing bond is about more than mere survival.
