Tarou Sakamoto’s name once struck fear into the hearts of criminals everywhere. No hitman could rival his skills, earning him the admiration of fellow assassins. But everything changed when Sakamoto fell in love. Within just five years, he got married, became a father, gained some weight, and swapped his weapons for an apron to run a modest convenience store.
Despite his firm retirement, leaving his former life behind proves challenging. His old partner, Shin Asakura, returns and decides to live with Sakamoto’s family under a strict no-kill rule. Things take a darker turn when a hefty bounty is placed on his head, drawing countless assassins after him. Yet they’re in for a rude awakening—Sakamoto hasn’t lost his lethal skills, and no matter what schemes his foes attempt, he will take down every last one to protect his beloved family.
