Since she was a child, Umika Konohoshi, aged 15, has held a fascination for aliens, dreaming of one day venturing into outer space to establish connections with them. Regrettably, this fixation has led her peers to brand her as peculiar, exacerbating her struggle with severe social anxiety. Yet, Umika’s passion for extraterrestrial life endures, as she firmly believes that her true calling lies beyond the confines of Earth.

On her inaugural day at high school, Umika’s aspiration of encountering an alien appears to materialize when she crosses paths with Yuu Akeuchi—a fellow classmate who asserts to have crash-landed on Earth devoid of memories of her past. Umika endeavors to seize this chance to befriend Yuu, but her lack of self-assurance impedes her efforts. Sensing Umika’s distress, Yuu unexpectedly employs an unusual power to delve into her psyche, igniting a friendship that could potentially pave the way for Umika to achieve her aspirations.
