Those who inherit the blood of both Momotarou and Oni are bound by an age-old rivalry. The Oni are reckless, impulsive, and chaotic, while the Momotarou stand as guardians of humanity, keeping the Oni’s destructive nature at bay. Among them is Shiki Ichinose, a defiant and irresponsible teenager who wears his rebellious streak—and even his school expulsion—with pride. Yet, despite Shiki’s behavior, his foster father, Tsuyoshi, shows him unwavering love.
That devotion is put to the ultimate test when a Momotarou intrudes, searching for Shiki. Revealed to be a Momotarou himself, Tsuyoshi has long concealed Shiki’s Oni heritage, protecting him from the truth. Sacrificing his life to shield Shiki, Tsuyoshi confesses everything in his final moments. Overcome with grief, Shiki’s Oni blood erupts, unleashing a monstrous transformation fueled by rage and vengeance.
His violent awakening draws the eye of Naito Mudano, an Oni instructor from Rakshasa Academy—a school dedicated to guiding young Oni in mastering their powers. Before Shiki can seek retribution for his father’s death, he must first learn to temper his impulsive nature and confront the darkness of his own demonic blood.
