Known as humanity’s inherent nemesis, mighty dragons from an ancient lineage wander across the land. There are only two reliable methods to slay a dragon: congealing their blood with silverine—an aura emitted by silver weaponry—or allowing their bodies to be reduced to ash by sunlight.
A gifted young hunter, Leonica travels alongside her close companion Ragna, who seems to lack the abilities required for their line of work. On top of that, many avoid Ragna, deeming him cursed, as dragons invariably attack him and massacre those close to him. Even so, Leonica recognizes his hidden potential and willingly teams up with him. In turn, Ragna believes that Leonica, thanks to her overwhelming strength, is unaffected by the misfortune that follows him.
That belief falters when Ragna dreams of Leonica’s death, interpreting it as a grim prophecy. When the foretold day finally comes, he encounters his future self, who grants him immense power and memories from what lies ahead to protect Leonica. To fulfill this goal, Ragna must ally himself with the enigmatic Crimson and bring about the complete annihilation of all dragons once and for all.
