The story is set at the elegant Dahlia Academy, a school that brings together two nations of equal prestige. The “Black Doggies” from the Eastern Nation of Touwa and the “White Cats” of the Principality of West have been embroiled in a deep-rooted rivalry for years. Romio Inuzuka and Juliet Persia, the leaders of their respective dormitories, are believed to be fierce opponents.

In truth, Romio and Juliet are deeply in love. However, making their relationship public would provoke outrage from both sides, so they keep their feelings hidden to preserve harmony. Living a secret romance forces them to forgo many of the experiences other couples enjoy. As their bond continues to strengthen, Romio and Juliet are eventually faced with the reality that concealing their love may not be possible forever.
