The list will highlight the filler episodes of Boruto (if any) and detail the episode-to-chapter conversion. Additionally, to help you watch the anime in order, any extra material, such as OVAs or movies, will be arranged according to its chronology. Finally, I will indicate the manga chapter where the anime ends and where to start reading from.

Season 1 (1–50)

The first season has 50 episodes, the openings used are Baton Road (1-25) and OVER (27-51)); the endings used are Dreamy Journey (1-13), Sayonara Moon Town (14-25), Boku wa Hashiri Tsuzukeru (27-39) and Denshin Tamashii (40-51).

Season 2 (51–105)

The second season has 55 episodes, the opening used are It’s all in the game (52-75), Lonely Go! (76-100) and Golden Time (101-105); the endings used are Kachou Fugetsu (52-63), Raika (64-75), Polaris (76-87), Tsuyogari LOSER (88-100) and Ride or Die (101-105). ~ Adapted from manga 1 to 10.

Season 3 (106–156)

The third season has 51 episodes, the openings used are Golden Time (106-126), Teenage Dream (127-150) and Hajimatteiku Tamkamattiku (151-156); the endings used are Ride or Die (106-113), Mikanseina Hikari-tachi (114-126), Wish On (127-138), Fireworks (139-150) and Maybe I (151-156). ~ Adapted from manga 11 to 15.

Season 4 (157–220)

The fourth season has 64 episodes, the openings used are Hajimatteiku Tamkamattiku (157-180), BAKU (181-205) and Gamushara (206-220); the endings used are Maybe I (157-167), Central (168-180), Answers (181-182) and Kimi Ga Ita Shirushi (193-220). ~ Adapted from manga 16 to 56.

Season 5 (221–260)

The fifth season has 40 episodes, the openings used are Gamushara (221-230), Gold (231-255) and Kirarirari (256-260); the endings used are Kimi Ga Ita Shirushi (221-230), Voltage (231-242), Twilight Fuzz (243-255) and Bibōroku (256-260).

Season 6 (261–293)

The sixth season has 33 episodes, the openings used are Kirarirari (261-281) and Shukuen (282-293); the endings used are Bibōroku (261-268), Ladder (269-281) and Mata ne (282-293). ~ Adapted from manga 56 to 67.

Boruto Filler Arcs to Watch and Skip

Boruto is currently divided into 26 arcs, of which only 5 arcs were adapted from his manga, the other arcs are original but named canonical. Therefore, I will mention the arcs that are worth watching and the ones that you should skip, leaving aside only the ones that were adapted from the manga:

• Academy Entrance Arc – 1-16: Recommended. In this arc they will introduce us to the new generation of ninjas, in addition to telling the story of a relevant character for later episodes. We skip episode 16 for being filler.
• School Trip Arc – 25-32: Not recommended. This arc is unnecessary, here they show us the school trip from the ninja academy to Kirigakure. Only this trip will be remembered in episode 182 but with nothing relevant to contribute.
• Graduation Exams Arc – 33-38: Recommended. In this arc they tell us a little about the motivations and expectations of the students for the future, this after becoming ninjas. We skip episode 33 for being filler.
• Genin Mission Arc – 39-42: Recommended. A short arc where they show us the first missions as genins. We skip episode 42 for being filler.
• Byakuya Gang Arc – 43-50: Not recommended. An unnecessary bow with nothing to contribute.
• Chocho Arc – 67-70: Not recommended . An unnecessary bow with nothing to contribute.
• Mitsuki’s Disappearance Arc – 71-92: Not recommended. In this arc they tell us about Mitsuki’s internal conflicts, deserting Konoha a bit in the style of Sasuke. Although a well-known character dies in this arc, for this anime it was irrelevant. But this arc would have been fine with fewer episodes, but unfortunately its 22 episodes makes it get boring
• Naruto Shinden: Family Day – 93-95: Recommended. A little nostalgia.
• Jugo Arc – 96-105: Recommended. Highly recommended, short and concise bow. We skip episodes 96, 97 and 104 because they are filler.
• Steam Ninja Scrolls Arc – 106-111: Not recommended. Although it tries to reach our hearts by nostalgia, it does not fulfill its objective due to its very poor plot.
• Konohamaru Arc – 112-119: Not recommended. This arc is conflicting, since I do not consider it bad, but not good either. You can skip it if you want to advance faster in the story, but if you are already up to date you can see it.
• One-Tail Escort Arc – 120-126: Recommended. Arc where Urashiki’s actions begin.
• Time Slip Arc – 127-140: Recommended. Arc where it narrates the travel in time of Boruto and Sasuke to stop Urashiki.
• Mujina Bandits Arc – 141-156: Recommended. While this arc is canon, only episodes 148, 149, 150 and 151 are relevant, from 141 to 147 are introductory episodes (canon anime) and from 152 to 156 are filler.
• Kara Actuation Arc – 157-177: Recommended This arc introduces the Kara organization, who are the villains that appear in the manga’s canon story.
• Vessel Arc – 178-187: Recommended Dealing with Kara’s appearance and her goal to retrieve the pot, this arc combines manga history (episodes 181-187) with source material.
• Chūnin Re-Examination Arc – 221-230: Recommended It covers the new chūnin exams held by Naruto’s decision as compensation for those interrupted by Momoshiki and as a method to search for more qualified shinobi.
• Great Sea Battle of Kirigakure Arc – 231-260: Recommended . .

How To Watch Boruto In Order?

The order to watch boruto would consist of watching only the anime, since the ovas are extra material and although the movie is canon, it was also included in the anime, so they are not necessary to watch. If you still want to do it, your timeline is as follows:

1. OVA: The Day Naruto Became Hokage: We watch this ova before Boruto: Naruto Next Generations, it tells us an anecdote of the day Naruto assumes as Hokage, this ova was included in the DVD of the movie Boruto: Naruto the Movie. The ova was remembered in episode 18, but in a summarized way.
2. Boruto: Naruto Next Generations: This anime has 293 episodes, adapted from chapters 1 to 67 of the manga. The broadcast of the anime is stopped due to lack of material to adapt, the last episode was 293 that aired on March 26, 2023.
   1. OVA 1: Boruto: We watch this ova after episode 42, it was released in the release of Naruto Shippūden: Ultimate Ninja Storm Trilogy. In this OVA, Team Konohamaru and Team Moegi are given a mission to find suspects who are allegedly stealing and transporting things in boxes.
   2. Boruto: Naruto the Movie (Optional): This movie is optional to watch, although it adapts the first 10 chapters of the manga, these were also adapted in episodes 53 to 66 of the Boruto: Naruto Next Generations anime. The film places us after the Fourth Shinobi World War, Naruto becomes the Seventh Hokage of Konoha and peace reigns in the Five Great Shinobi Nations. Despite this, Naruto is overwhelmed by his responsibilities as a Kage and his time with his family is limited. His son Boruto is a genin and forms a team with Sarada and Mitsuki under the command of Konohamaru
